BA Bowlers

The presentation dance is this Saturday in Stenhousemuir Bowling Club at 6.30 p.m. for the meal at 7 p.m. Donations for the raffle would be appreciated.

Do you suffer from anxiety or depression? This is a group who meet in a supportive and confidential environment. Monday mixed group meets 7-9 p.m. and men only group meets first and third Thursday from 2-4 p.m. in the Dawson Centre, Davids Loan. Braveheart Walks

Devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start the walk at 10.30 a.m., finishing an hour later in Greggs for tea and a cake. Parish Church

On Remembrance Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at the earlier time of 10.50 a.m, to allow for the minute’s silence at 11 a.m. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Andrew Sarle. A warm invitiation is extended to anyone who wishes to join with the congregation at this annual service of Remembrance. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service. Please come along.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m .in the Dawson Centre, there is a Job Drop in Club which has been in operation for nearly three years with the following facilities; free access to Job Centre web site help with CV, benefits advice and support. Fruit Barra

Fridays, 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Cafe (which is located in the Dawson Centre). Come along and get fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. Healthy start vouchers will be accepted. For any information, contact Michelle on (01324) 501470.

Country dancing

Take the floor at Bainsford Parish Church hall, Smith Street for Scottish Dancing each Thursday at 7.30 p.m. All welcome.

Community Council

The next meeting of the Langlees, Bainsford and Newcarron Community Council will be on Tuesday, November 11, at 7 p.m. in Bainsford Community Centre.
