Credit Union

Braveheart Walks

Devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start their walk at 10.30 a.m., finishing an hour later in Greggs for tea and a cake. Parish Church

On Sunday, the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated in Bainsford Parish Church at 11 a.m. The Kirk Session will meet at 10.40 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Sarle conducting the service with the theme being “When the teachers weren’t there”. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service.

Country Dancing

Take the floor in Bainsford Parish Church hall, Smith Street every Thursday, at 7.30 p.m for Scottish country dancing. New members very welcome.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m till 1 p.m in the Dawson Centre there is a Job Drop-in Club which has been in operation for nearly three years with free access to Job Centre website, help with CV, benefits advice and support. Fruit Barra

Fridays, 10 a.m. till 1 p.m in the Dawson Cafe (which is located in the Dawson Centre). Come along and get fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. Healthy Eating Vouchers will be accepted. For any information, contact Michelle on (01324) 501470.

Christmas Fayre

Bainsford Day Centre is holding its annual Christmas Fayre/Coffee Morning in the Day Cetnre, Waverley Street, tomorrow (Friday), from 9.30 a.m. till 11.30 a.m. Admission £1.50 includes tea, coffee and a cake. Stalls, bric-a-brac, cake and candy, tombola, raffles and some ceramics. Donations gladly accepted. For any information contact (01324) 501630.

Ladies Group

Bainsford Parish Church Ladies Group will meet in the Session House on Monday, at 7.15 p.m. when the topic will be ‘World War I Reminiscances’. All ladies of the church and friends are welcome to come along.
