Braveheart Walks

Our devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start their walk at 10.30 a.m.,finishing an hour later in Greggs for a tea and cake. If you would like to find out more information please call (01324) 673703 or our walk leader on (01324) 554897.

Parish Church

On Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at 11 a.m. when there will be a special service of Praise to mark the retiral of Rev. Michael R. Philip who has given Bainsford 13 years devoted service. The service will be conducted by Rev. Andrew Sarle with the theme being ‘The End of an Era’. The Brightons Parish Church Praise Group will also take part in the service. A snack lunch will be served in the hall after the service.

Job Club

Every Wednesday, from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Centre there is a Job Drop in Club which has been in operation for nearly three years with the following facilities: free access to Job Centre web site; help with CV, benefits advice and support available. Fruit Barra

Every Friday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Cafe (which is located in the Dawson Centre) you can buy fresh fruit and veg from your local farmer at reasonable prices. Healthy Start vouchers will be accepted and there will be information on healthy eating, free recipe cards and tasting sessions. For information, contact Michelle on (01324) 501470.

Senior Citizens

The Carron Connect Partnership has organised a prize bingo in aid of the SOFIA Project for senior citizens, which will be held in the Bainsford Community Centre on Tuesday, doors open 6.30 p.m. for eyes down at 7 -9 p.m. Please bring your own cup.
