BA Bowlers

Councillor Cecil Meiklejohn opened the green last Saturday and, although the weather could have been kinder, everyone had an enjoyable day. This Saturday, the club visit Polmont with transport leaving the club at 1 p.m.

Braveheart

Devoted Dawson walkers meet every Wednesday outside Carron Co-op main entrance to start their walk at 10.30am, finishing an hour later in Greggs for tea and a cake. Parish Church

On Sunday, the worship in Bainsford Parish Church is at the earlier time of 10 a.m. and will be conducted by the Rev. Andrew Sarle with the theme being “Jesus the Teacher”. Tea and coffee will be served in the hall after the service.

Job Club

Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the Dawson Centre there is a Job Drop in Club with the following facilities: free access to Job Centre web site, help with CV, benefits advice and support. Tea and coffee on offer. For any information, contact Alan Bald on 01324 510470.

The Carron Connect Partnership (SOFIA Project) has organised the following activities in Bainsford Community Centre- Tea Dance on Sunday from 1.30 till 4 p.m. Prize Bingo on Tuesday, April 21, doors open 6.30 p.m., for eyes down at 7 p.m. till 9 p.m. Please bring your own cup.
