Community Council

A general meeting of Airth Parish Community Council will be held in Airth Primary School at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22. Items on the agenda include planning issues and proposed improvements to the cenotaph in Airth. All residents are welcome to attend. The community council is still looking to recruit someone to act as a minute secretary to attend monthly meetings, take notes and compile comprehensive minutes of the meetings. Parish Church

Sunday Morning Worship service at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Jim Todd. Bible study/fellowship group meets on Tuesday in the church at 1.30 p.m. Special prayer times for Pentecost are set aside twice weekly, on Friday mornings from 8 to 8.30 a.m. and Saturdays from 4 to 4.30 p.m. All welcome.

Spring Trip

Airth and District senior citizens have organised a half day trip to Portobello on Tuesday, May 12 leaving from Airth Community Centre at 11 a.m. prompt. Those wishing to go please give names to any committee member by Monday, May 4. The cost to senior citizens is £5.
