A TEENAGER was attacked by an intruder in a school corridor last week.
The incident is alleged to have happened in Graeme High School on Thursday.
It is believed that a chemistry teacher at the school helped to break up the attack on the third year pupil.
A spokesperson for Central Scotland Police said: "A 17-year-old male has been reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with an alleged assault on a 14-year-old youth within Graeme High School on Thursday, March 13."
Shocked parents have been issued with letters stating there had been an intruder in the school, and advising them that the matter is now in the hands of the police.
A spokesperson for Falkirk Council said: "We can confirm there was an incident at Graeme High School this week.
''We are co-operating with Central Scotland Police in their investigation."
