ENQUIRIES into the disappearance of missing Brightons man Andrew Ainsworth are continuing.
Four weeks after he went missing, police are no closer to establishing his whereabouts.

Andrew (56) left his home in Haygate Avenue at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, to make his way to work but has not been seen since.

Police have released a new
photograph of the father-of-three, wearing the hat and rucksack he was believed to have been wearing when he went missing.

Searches around his home and the surrounding area have been carried out, as police have checked CCTV in the Brightons and Falkirk area, without any trace being found.

Inspector Derek Napier, who is leading the hunt, said: "There have been no confirmed sightings since January 5, despite a wide public appeal, and his family are obviously concerned.

"Four weeks after he was last seen, I would take the opportunity to jog people's memories in case they have seen him, know of his whereabouts or have a piece of information that could help us locate him."

Andrew is described as 5ft 11in, with short grey hair and wearing a blue/grey quilted jacket, blue/beige trousers, a grey scarf with red and yellow lining, a grey beanie hat and brown walking boots. He was also carrying a red rucksack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on (01786) 456000.
