HUNDREDS of women flocked to Callendar Park on Sunday to pay tribute to loved ones affected by cancer.
At the last count, 2527 women took part in Falkirk's Race for Life, raising more than £152,000 for Cancer Research UK.
The Falkirk Herald was the media sponsor for the event and starting the 5km race was Lauren Adams, the paper's number one runner.
Some chose to run alone, while others took part in large groups and, for a few, fancy dress was even an option.
Either way there was plenty of smiles before, during and after the run.
See this week's Falkirk Herald for full coverage of the event.
