HORSE-LOVER Beth Haddow had a lucky escape when she was injured in a freak riding accident.
The 16-year-old was thrown from her pony Dexter and then kicked by the frightened animal.
But thanks to the speed of paramedics with the Scottish Air Ambulance Service, the Denny High pupil was rushed to the Southern General
Hospital in Glasgow where she received immediate treatment in the specialist neurosurgery unit.
Doctors were amazed by her speedy recovery and last week she was finally given the all-clear to get back on her trusty steed.
Now grateful family and friends have raised over £1000 for the air service that helped save the teenager from more serious injury – and cash is still rolling in.
