Building firm fined £125,000 after death of Polish worker

A GLASGOW firm admitted responsibilty for the accident which led to a Polish worker's death.
Witold Jellen, (56), died after falling around 40 ft from scaffolding inside Falkirk's former ABC Cinema - now known as City Nightclub - in Princes Street on July 26 last year.

Curot Construction Ltd appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Thursday and admitted their responsibility in the accident.

Sherrif William Gallagher fined the company £125,000.
