NANCY hopeful Ashley Russell has been eliminated from the TV show I'd Do Anything.
The 24-year-old battled through seven live shows before being voted out by Andrew Lloyd Webber on Sunday night's results programme.

The Grangemouth girl, who was in the sing-off with Irish teenager Niamh Perry, sang Aretha Franklin's 'I Say a Little Prayer' on the Saturday night show.

Ashley, who made it down to the final six Nancys from thousands of entrants, received negative comments from the panel on Saturday night.

Denise Van Outen felt her performance was "very cruise ship", while Scottish-born John Barrowman said: "It was a little cheesy for me."

Despite voting her out, Lloyd Webber said Ashley's drama students should be "very proud" - and that he would love to work with her again.

Ashley wowed audiences during her time on the show with hits including 'Black Velvet,' 'The Winner Takes It All' and 'Big Spender'.
