The wedding of Kirsty Neish and Chris Lynch
THE COUPLE: Kirsty (28), from Brightons, is a travel consultant with Thomas Cook, and Chris (32) is from Falkirk and works as a bank manager in Glasgow. The couple live in Falkirk.
HOW THEY MET: Kirsty and Chris first met in the town 10 years ago, but only started dating six years ago.
THE PROPOSAL: Chris asked Kirsty to marry him two years ago on Christmas Eve. The couple were sitting having a nice dinner when Chris gave her a Christmas card for “fiancee” and an engagement ring.
THE WEDDING: The wedding was held at Orocco Pier in South Queensferry on December 4. The day guests were family members and friends joined the celebrations at night. Kirsty said that everything was perfect.
THE WEDDING PARTY: Kirsty’s bridesmaid was her cousin Aimi MacIntosh, and Chris’s best friend Graeme Crawford was the best man. The flower girls were the couple’s daughter Sophia (18 months) and the couple’s friend’s daughter, five-year-old Sophie. The couple’s son Jack (4) was a page boy.
THE DRESS: Kirsty’s dress had a classic look and was satin with lace detail and a long train. The bride also wore a long veil.
THE HONEYMOON: The newlyweds jetted off to New York for five days - without the children!
