The wedding of Fiona Lynch and Scott Henderson
The couple: Fiona is a service leader for Aspire and Scott is a company director. The couple live in Larbert.
How they met: Fiona met Scott when his business Xtreme Karting opened and she bumped into him again in Behind the Wall and the two started dating.
The proposal: The couple had enjoyed a meal in Orocco Pier on Christmas Eve 2009 and when they got home, just before midnight, Scott proposed with a ring hidden under Fiona’s pillow.
The wedding: The wedding was held on August 20, Fiona’s birthday, at St Michael’s Parish Church in Linlithgow, followed with a reception at Norton House in Edinburgh. The day was perfect, with the weather glorious.
The wedding party: Fiona had five bridesmaids, daughter Danielle Lynch, friend Kirsty McDonald and nieces Alicia Robinson, Beth Sneddon and Kirsty Sneddon who each wore strapless black satin gowns with diamante details. The best man was Scott’s older brother Barrie and ushers were Steven Claffey, Jamie Howe and Liam Reynolds.
The dress: Fiona wore a stunning one shouldered gown by Alan Hannah. The dress had a satin bodice pulled to the side with diamantes with a silk overlay and train.
The honeymoon: After a garden party at Scott’s parents the following day, the couple went to St Andrews with dog Alfie for a week and then on a cruise around Italy for a second week.
Thanks: The couple wish to thank both sets of parents, Reverend John Paton and all their friends and family for all their help.
