The wedding of Grace Malcolm and Greig Carter
THE COUPLE: Grace Malcolm (39) is from Falkirk and works as an assistant financial accountant in Ratho while Falkirk’s Greig Carter is 32 and works as a process operator. The couple live in Stenhousemuir with daughter Stella.
HOW THEY MET: The couple met about 11 years ago but only officially got to together a few years ago.
THE PROPOSAL: Greig popped the question when the couple were staying at the Lodge on Loch Lomond. The couple had talked about getting married but Grace said she was still quite surprised.
THE WEDDING: The wedding was held over two days. The ceremony took place on May 13 at Cromlix House Hotel near Dunblane where there were 29 adults and 11 children as guests. An evening reception was held the next night at the Beancross where 200 guests celebrated with the couple.
THE WEDDING PARTY: Grace’s bridesmaid was her younger sister Laura Donaldson and Greig’s best man was his older brother Gordon Carter. Little Stella, who is 15 months, also loved wearing a very pretty dress
THE DRESS: Grace bought her ivory gown from the Enchanted Room in Brightons. It was a strapless, lace dress by Jade Daniels, and Grace was a lucky bride who got to wear her dress twice.
THE HONEYMOON: The couple enjoyed a mini moon in Centre Parcs a few weeks after the wedding but are heading to the Maldives in September.
