Plenty of room to grow

IF size really does matter to you as a house hunter, then this luxury villa should be right up your street.

This six-bedroom property is set in a charming Reddingmuirhead cul-de-sac, featuring ten similar properties, and has room and space in abundance.

Owners Alistair and Joanne Mitchell bought the house in May 2006 after being blown away by its size and semi-rural location.

Alistair said: “We bought it from new. The houses were all built by the same builder, and while they look similar from the outside, there are subtle differences inside.

“We loved the space the house offered and it’s general location.

“It’s between two villages and still only three or four miles from Falkirk town centre.”

Since buying the house, which they had intended to stay in for many, many years, the couple now find that other commitments mean that they are looking to buy in the Stirling area.

Alistair added: “If we could lift the house and move it there we would.

“We’ve been very happy here, we love the house.”

Set over three levels, the property is flooded with light and, because of its size, offers lots of options for flexible living.

Well presented, the front sitting room is light and roomy and looks out on to the front of the property.

There’s also a great family room, and an attractive sun room with french doors leading to the sun deck.

But a real highlight has to be the kitchen and dining area which gives it a homely feel.

Upstairs, there’s plenty of scope for bedrooms, a gym, a study and more.

Alistair added: “I think this house would suit a family or an expanding family because there’s so much room.”
