Shija Walia, a mum-of-two and an interior designer, believes the house still has all the qualities that first attracted her to it six years ago.
She said: “We were this house’s first owners as it was a new build when we bought it.
“It was very spacious and one of the largest in a development of around 300 homes.
“The space inside is fantastic and it has a huge garden which is good for the kids.
“I also wanted a house where I could work from home, so we have an office too.
“It has a double garage and it was such a well-presented property when we moved in that we didn’t really have to do anything to it.”
Although the family have made no structural changes to the house, cosmetic touches like new flooring were added.
Peruvian lapacho hardwood flooring runs through the large hall and garden room. Shija said: “I do love the flooring and always have it clean, which is not always easy with two young boys running around.”
Also downstairs is the comfortable lounge with a box bay window, spacious kitchen and dining area and a family room which leads on to the back garden.
Upstairs, the bedrooms all have fitted wardrobes, and the master bedroom is spacious with an en suite.
The family are looking to move because of job opportunities further south for Shija’s husband, Jiten, but leave this house as a treat for anyone looking to enjoy its comforts.
