THE COUPLE: Louise (32) is an IT worker for ATOS in Livingston and Kevin (30) is a quality specialist with Quintiles, also in Livingston. They live together in Bo’ness.
HOW THEY MET: Louise and Kevin met while on separate nights out at the Cavendish nightclub in Edinburgh – six years ago on Saturday.
THE PROPOSAL: Kevin had it all planned out. He got the ring delivered to his mum’s work then pretended that he was going out with a friend. However, Louise took the huff as they had planned an evening in. When he returned he got down on one knee surrounded by flowers and proposed. Louise couldn’t say yes for crying she was so happy. It brought her out of the huff too.
THE WEDDING: They married in Dunblane Hydro on October 4, 2014 and the day was “perfect”.
THE WEDDING PARTY: Louise’s maid of honour was best friend Joanne Beechman with bridesmaids Vicky Cairns, Claire McCulloch, Kirsty McHail and Emma Paterson. Kevin’s best man was Steven O’Rourke with two ushers Keith McQueenie and Craig Aitken. Willow Thorn was a flower girl and Leo Pearson was a page boy.
THE DRESS: Louise got her pearl-coloured dress from The Enchanted Room in Brightons. It had a cathedral veil at the back and decorations matched her black diamond engagement ring.
THE HONEYMOON: The couple spent three days in New York before a Bahamas cruise.
THANKS: The couple would like to thank all their family, friends and the wedding party for making it such a special day.
