The wedding of Emma McWilliams and Graeme Ronnay
THE COUPLE: Emma (25) is a maths teacher from Grangemouth and Graeme (29) is an engineer with Sky from Brightons. The couple live in Reddingmuirhead.
HOW THEY MET: The couple had friends in common and got together in 2011.
THE PROPOSAL: Graeme got down on one knee in January this year at their home with a ring he had picked out in secret. After accepting his proposal in her pyjamas, Emma’s next worry was painting her nails to show off her new accessory.
THE WEDDING: Emma and Graeme were married at The Vu in Bathgate on July 2, 2014 in a Humanist ceremony. There were 100 day guests with an additional 30 who came along at night and the day was perfect.
THE WEDDING PARTY: Maid of honour was Emma’s friend Clare Glen with bridesmaids her friend Amy Burke, sister-in-law Kristen King and cousins Pamela Berrington and Karen Aitken. Best man was Graeme’s friend Andrew Fernie and ushers brother-in-law Nick King and friend Andy Ure. Page boy was the couple’s adorable five-month-old nephew Dylan King.
THE DRESS: Emma’s dress had a sweetheart neckline with a lace panel which was removed at night. The skirt was full with ruching detail and it was teamed with a crystal belt and lace and crystal shoes.
THE HONEYMOON: The couple are currently enjoying two weeks in the Dominican Republic.
THANKS: The couple wish to thank their friends and family, especially mums Irene and Jacqui, for their kind wishes, gifts and for making their day so special.
