HOW THEY MET: The couple met 14 years ago while up the town on a night out.
THE PROPOSAL: Peter popped the question seven years ago during a trip to Perth. Kellie said that she was not at all expecting it, but was delighted to say ‘yes’.
THE WEDDING: The wedding was held on August 8, 2012, at The Vu in Bathgate. There were 75 guests at the service and over 100 family and friends in the evening. Kellie said the day was fantastic and it was lovely to get some glorious weather to enjoy the view and have photos taken.
THE WEDDING PARTY: Kellie’s bridemaids were her sisters Sophie Clark and Katie Hannah, and the best men were Christopher Duffy and Christopher Nairn. The usher was Peter’s brother Alan McEwan, and the flower girl was Kellie’s niece Megan Clark. The bride’s mum, Linda Kelly, gave her away.
THE DRESS: Kellie wore a Ronald Joyce gown which featured a sweetheart neckline, capped sleeves and crystals.
THE HONEYMOON: The couple spent a few days in London.
THANKS: Special thanks to family and friends for all their help and support and for helping with the whole planning process.
