The wedding of Donna Coyle and Aaron Scott
THE COUPLE: Donna is 34, from Dunfermline, and works in a doctor’s surgery in Fife, and Aaron, from Airth, is 33 and works as a delivery driver. The newlyweds live in Grangemouth.
HOW THEY MET: The couple met through friends two-and-a-half years ago.
THE PROPOSAL: Aaron popped the question during a visit to Aberdour Castle in March 2010. Donna said she was a bit surprised but was delighted to accept.
THE WEDDING: The wedding was held on June 30. The service was held in Aberdour Castle in front of 50 guests, and over 120 family and friends joined the couple at night at the Pettycur Bay Hotel in Fife. The day went really well.
THE WEDDING PARTY: Donna’s sister Charleen Coyle was a bridemaid along with Donna’s friends Annmarie Rosie, Kelly Davidson and Michelle Muir. The best man was Aaron’s brother Jamie and the ushers were Donna’s brothers Paul and Darren Coyle, Donna’s sister’s partner Barry Smith and Aaron’s cousin Michael Lamb. The flower girls were Aaron’s niece Billie-Marie Baillie (5) and Donna’s niece Ellie Keating (6).
THE DRESS: Donna wore a Maggie Sottero dress shipped from America. It had lace and crystal detailing and she also wore a cathedral-length veil.
THE HONEYMOON: The couple spent a fantastic week in Cyprus.
