The wedding of Erin Lee and Grant Colborn
THE COUPLE: Erin is 30 and works as an estate agent in Falkirk, and Grant is also 30, and a civil servant. The newlyweds live in Head of Muir.
HOW THEY MET: The couple met through a mutual friend at Behind the Wall a few years ago. Erin was there with her dad watching a Scotland game and she was introduced to Grant.
THE PROPOSAL: In April, 2010, Grant picked Erin up from work and took her home where a bunch of flowers and an engagement ring were waiting on her. She was completely surprised and loved her engagement ring.
THE WEDDING: The wedding was held on June 23 at Culcreuch Castle in Fintry. Over 80 guests watched the couple tie the knot and a total of 100 family and friends celebrated in the evening. The couple loved the day and enjoyed relaxing after the ceremony.
THE WEDDING PARTY: Erin’s sister Jennie Lee and Grant’s sister Jenna Colborn were the bridesmaids, and the best man was Grant’s friend and colleague, Jamie Hughes. The ushers were Erin’s cousin Douglas West and another cousin’s son Ethan West.
THE DRESS: Erin wore a light ivory gown with sweetheart neckline. It was fitted to the waist and featured a full skirt.
THE HONEYMOON: The couple spent two weeks in Cuba.
