The wedding of Natalie Miller and Stuart McCaskill
THE COUPLE: Natalie is 27 and works for Prudential, while Stuart is also 27 and works off-shore for BP. The Falkirk couple live in the town centre.
HOW THEY MET: Natalie and Stuart both went to Falkirk High School together and spent a brief spell as boyfriend and girlfriend in their teens. But a few years after school, the couple got back in touch and went out for a drink.
THE PROPOSAL: The couple were in Glasgow celebrating the anniversary they got together. They were walking down Buchanan Street when Stuart suddenly said that they should go and buy an engagement ring. A shocked Natalie was delighted.
THE WEDDING: The wedding was held on January 27 at Orocco Pier in South Queensferry. Immediate family attended the service, and the couple were then joined by 240 guests for their evening reception at Beancross. Natalie said that the day was absolutely perfect, and she enjoying getting the photographs taken on the beach - wearing red wellies!
THE WEDDING PARTY: The couple’s sisters, Jorden Miller and Laura McCaskill, were the bridesmaids, and Kris Benei was the best man. Stuart’s nephew Ciaran Benei was the ring bearer.
THE DRESS: Natalie loved her 1950s style dress which was similar to the one her grandmother wore on her wedding day.
THE HONEYMOON: The newlyweds will jet off to Florida and Miami in May.
