THE DETAILS: Montgomery - known as Monty - Frisken Seatter was born at 7.30 a.m on November 20, 2013, at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. weighing 7lb 9oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum Laura is 36 and a civil servant and dad Andrew is 35 and a self-employed joiner. The couple have an older daughter, two-year-old Hannah, and the family live in Shieldhill.

THE PREGNANCY: Laura said the pregnancy was pretty straightforward this time round. She had hardly any morning sickness and the whole pregnancy flew by.

THE BIRTH: Little Monty was five days overdue. Laura went into labour naturally at home, and it all happened pretty quickly once Laura got to the hospital. Dad was on hand to help, and mum and baby were fine afterwards.

THE BABY: Monty is a great wee baby. He loves his food so is growing well. He loves to be tickled and enjoys cuddles from his big sister. Hannah loves her little brother now she’s gotten over the inital disappointment that he isn’t a girl!

THE NAME: Laura and Andrew had compiled a list of boys name, but decided on ‘Monty’ at the last minute in the hospital. ‘Frisken’ is Andrew’s mum’s maiden name.

THE GRANDPARENTS: The baby is a second grandchild for June and David Liddell of Falkirk, and a fourth for Maureen and James Seatter of Falkirk.

THANKS: Special thanks to the poppy team and to all the midwives and staff at the hospital.
