The birth of Christopher Thomas Lattka

THE PARENTS: Mum and dad are Sharon McGarva (35), who works as a receptionist at St Mungo’s High School, and Christopher Lattka (38) is an estimator manager with H&J Burgoyne cars in Airth. They also have a daughter Annalise (11) and live in Carronshore.

THE PREGNANCY: Sharon said her pregnancy was “wonderful” with no problems whatsoever. “It was the total opposite to my first pregnancy, I sailed through it,” she said.

THE BIRTH: Sharon was only in labour for one hour but did require a caesarian section in the end and Christopher arrived on his due date.

THE BABY: Christopher is a big “hungry” boy who is doing great. Sharon said: “He is eating very well but I think he is getting his days and nights mixed up for sleeping.”

THE NAME: Christopher is named after dad and his middle name after his maternal grandfather.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Christopher is the second grandchild of Anna and Thomas McGarva of Carronshore and the third for Agnes and Stan Lattka, also of Carronshore.
