The birth of Max Weston
THE PARENTS: Mum Joanna (30) is an administrative officer with the Child Support Agency, and dad Alan (30) is an engineer based in Alloa. The family live in Carronshore with three-year-old Mica.
THE PREGNANCY: It was fine with no problems.
THE BIRTH: Joanna went into labour on her due date. She went to hospital but midwives thought she had a while to go and sent her home. She was just about to head to hospital again when baby Weston could wait no longer. He was delivered by dad in the family’s bathroom. Both mum and baby went to hospital in an ambulance but all was fine.
THE BABY: Max is a great baby who is eating and sleeping well. He’s full of giggles and loves to have a wee nosey at everything. Big sister Mica adores him and can’t stop kissing him.
THE NAME: The couple liked the name Max because it was a good boys’ name and couldn’t be short ened.
THE GRANDPARENTS: Max is second grandchild for Joe and Lorraine Weston of Stenhousemuir and a second for Lorraine and Joe Hanlon of Larbert.
THANKS: Thanks to the paramedics and midwives at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
