Emma Bull

The birth of Emma Louise Bull

THE DETAILS: Emma Louise Bull was born on April 17, 2012 at Forth Valley Royal Hospital at 6.38 a.m. weighing 8lb 6.5oz.

THE PARENTS: Sarah Louise (34) is from Crieff and is a full-time mum, while dad Martin (38) is an IT engineer in Edinburgh. Emma is the couple’s third baby and the family live in Rumford.

THE PREGNANCY: The pregnancy went well apart from the usual niggles like heartburn and pelvic pain.

THE BIRTH: Emma was three days early, just like her older brother Aiden. Sarah went into labour, and went to the hopsital but was only in the labour suite for just over two hours before the baby was born. Mum and Emma were well afterwards.

THE BABY: Little Emma is doing well and only gets up once in the night if that. She is doted on by her big brothers, Jamie (5) and 19-month-old Aiden.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Emma is a sixth grand-child for Carol and John Brock of Crieff and a fifth for Norman and Janette Bull who live in Spain.

THANKS: Thanks go to the midwives at Forth Valley Royal for all their support and assistance.
