The birth of Evan John Wilson

THE DETAILS: Evan John Wilson was born on December 26, 2011, at Forth Valley Royal Hospital weighing 6lb 5.5 oz.

THE PARENTS: Laura Wilson is 32 and a civil servant from Larbert, and dad Steven Wilson is 32 and an engineer from Linlithgow. The family live in Falkirk and Evan is their first baby.

THE PREGNANCY: The pregnancy went very smoothly and there were no problems.

THE BIRTH: Little Evan was 12 days late so Laura was induced. Baby Wilson was a Ventouse delivery and both mum and baby were well afterwards.

THE BABY: Evan is doing great and is a very content. He enjoys smiling and is eating everything given to him.

THE NAME: Both Steven and Laura liked the name and John is grandad’s name.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Evan is a third grandchild for Moira and John Nicol of Larbert, and a second for Anne and George Wilson of Linlithgow.
