Anna Jane Little

The birth of Anna Jane Little

THE DETAILS: Anna Jane Little was born at Stirling Royal Infirmary on February 6 at 6.36 a.m. weighing 8lb 10oz.

THE PARENTS: Mum Lynn is 36 and works in admin support in Stirling while dad Graeme is 38 and a branch manager for a builders merchant in Falkirk. Anna is the couple’s second baby and the family live in Rumford.

THE PREGNANCY: Lynn said her pregnancy was fine with no problems at all.

THE BIRTH: Little Anna was four days late. Mum Lynn started to get niggles on the Friday and went to hospital late on Saturday night. Anna was born safe and sound on the Sunday morning.

THE BABY: Anna is a very content little baby who is almost sleeping right through the night. She is also very fond of her big brother Conor who is six. Conor is also delighted with his new wee sister who gives him a smile when he gets home from school.

THE NAME: Both Lynn and Graeme liked the name Anna and it was their only choice for a girl. The middle name of Jane is after Lynn’s late auntie Jane.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Little Anna is a second grandchild for Catherine and the late William Higgins and Neil and Margaret Little. She is also a first great-granddaughter for Jean Higgins from Rumford.

THANKS: Thanks go to the maternity team at Stirling Royal Infirmary, Anna’s grandparents, and everyone who sent lovely cards and gifts. Special thanks to Lynn’s mum Catherine for all her help and support over the past few months.
