This spacious family home in Camelon was designed by present owners Marilyn Riddell and Christine Leadbetter and offers plenty of room for all the family.
The modern detached bungalow in Centurion Way was built in 2000 and the family share many happy memories of their time there.
Marilyn (60), a retired civil servant, said: “We have loved living here, we designed it with the builder so it was to our specifications. We’ll be sad to leave but it’s time to downsize.”
The house boasts three large bedrooms, two of which are en-suite, a separate family bathroom, a lounge/dining room, large kitchen and utility room and a bright sun lounge.
In the garden is a sun house, which Marilyn says is the perfect place to spend a summer evening.
“The sun house is lovely, it is a real sun trap and it’s great to spend an evening in it – just maybe not a winter evening.”
The house is on the outskirts of Camelon, situated beside Falkirk Golf Club and enjoying a corner plot, with a large garden which granddaughter Brooke (8) loves to play in.
Marilyn said: “We have a real connection to the house, we helped design it and time has gone into every tiny detail.
“Building our own home meant we picked all the fixtures and fittings and, unlike most new builds we looked at, all the rooms are really bright and spacious.
“We have loved living here, but now feel the house is getting a bit big for us,” she added.
“It is time for another family to enjoy all the house has to offer.”
