The wedding of Diane Walker and Keith Bunyan
COUPLE: Diane Bunyan (nee Walker) is a 28-year-old business manager for a private software company. She is originally from Laurieston. Keith Bunyan (30) is originally from Falkirk and is an active schools co-ordinator with Falkirk Council. He played basketball for Scotland in the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia. The couple live in Polmont.

WHERE THEY MET: Both met while they were members of Falkirk Otters Swimming Club in their younger years but did not start going out until their later teens.

PROPOSAL: The couple were on holiday in Switzerland in 2005 and were standing on the top of a mountain when Keith totally surprised Diane by pulling out the ring and proposed there and then.

WEDDING: The wedding ceremony took place in the Houston House Hotel, Uphall, on Friday, August 3, 2007. There were 70 guests at the ceremony and a further 50 joined in the evening reception.

BRIDE'S OUTFIT: Diane wore a strapless ivory dress.

BRIDAL PARTY:
The bridesmaids were Caroline Muirhead and Kim Bunyan. The bestman man was Gregor Gillies, and the ushers were Allan Walker, Stuart Mackay, Niall Burrow and Marek Pawlek.

HONEYMOON: Keith and Diane spent two weeks in the United States and covered a few miles driving the freeways to Las
Vegas, Palm Springs and Beverly Hills.

THANKS: Diane and Keith extend their thanks to both families for their part in making the wedding a great success.
