Wedding of the Week ... Coleen Risk and Daniel Kennedy

COLEEN (29) is a primary school teacher in Bathgate, while Daniel (31) is an instrument technician who works for BP off shore.
The couple live in Lionthorn.

HOW THEY MET: Coleen and Daniel met at Behind the Wall in Falkirk in 2004 but didn't start dating until the following year.

THE PROPOSAL: While on holiday in Las Vegas in August 2007, Daniel ordered a helicopter to take the couple to the Grand Canyon where he popped the question over a champagne picnic.

THE WEDDING: The wedding was on April 4 at St Francis Xavier Church in Falkirk, with a reception at Glenbervie House Hotel.

THE DRESS: Coleen's ivory gown was designed by Benjamin Roberts.

THE BRIDAL PARTY: Coleen's bridesmaids were her sisters Maggie Kennedy and Helena Risk and her best friend Lisa Manmuir. Her five–year–old niece Kirsten was flower girl. Daniel's brother Tommy Kennedy was the best man and his friends Kris Jack, Bryan Jardine, Paul Monaghan and Grant Cook were the ushers.

THE HONEYMOON: The newly–weds spent 10 days in Thailand before flying to Hong Kong for five days.
