The birth of Aaron Millar
THE DETAILS: Aaron Millar was born on August 28 in Stirling Royal Infirmary at 12.57p.m. weighing 7lb 10oz.

THE PARENTS: Debbie Walker (22), from Carronshore is a nursing auxillary at Falkirk Hospital and Steven Millar (26), from Grangemouth, works as a MI consultant in Edinburgh. The couple now live in Falkirk.

THE PREGNANCY: Debbie said that her pregnancy was fine. She didn't have much morning sickness but did suffer from severe headaches during the middle of her pregnancy.

THE BIRTH: Aaron was due to be born on September 11 but due to complications with the placenta covering the cervix, he was delivered by section two weeks early.

THE BABY: Proud mum Debbie said: "He's great. He sleeps through the night and he loves his baths. He's a very content and happy boy. He's constantly smiling."

THE NAME: Aaron was a name that both the couple liked but it wasn't the only one they had considered. She said: "We liked Liam as well but once we saw him we thought Aaron suited him better. If he had darker hair, we might have gone with Liam but Aaron suits a blondie."

THE GRANDPARENTS: The delighted new grandparents are Rose-Marie Walker and George Walker, John and Deidre Milla and Derek White and Elaine Walker. Aaron is the first grandchild on both sides.

THANKS: A special thanks to the theatre staff at the hospital and all the couple's friends and family for their support throughout the pregnancy.
