Baby of the Week ... Leah Jane Anderson

LEAH was born on Thursday, April 16 at 12.11 a.m. in Stirling Royal Infirmary weighing 8lb 9oz.
THE PARENTS: Natalie Godfrey (20) is an admin assistant with The Falkirk Herald and dad Brian Anderson (22) is an apprentice plumber with Falkirk Council. The family live in Camelon.

THE PREGNANCY: "It was fine, no problems at all," said Natalie.

THE BIRTH: Baby Leah finally arrived eight days past her due date following a lengthy labour. Natalie said: "It was long ... but worth it." Leah was eventually born after a Caesarean section.

THE BABY: The new parents say she is great and sleeping 12 hours a night.

THE NAME: "We picked Leah from a baby name book and it was the only one we both agreed that we liked. Jane is after my great gran and it is my middle name," said Natalie.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Leah is the first granddaughter for Maureen and Kenny Godfrey of Camelon and second granddaughter for Karen and Brian Anderson, also Camelon.
