THE PARENTS: Mum Nicole Brown (25) is a housewife, dad Robert Ross Rowan (44) is a demolition contractor. The family live in Falkirk.
THE PREGNANCY: Nicole said she was very sick to start with and had really bad heartburn, but towards the end it was great.
THE BIRTH: Joseph arrived quickly and Nicole had a completely natural birth which she is really pleased about. She said: "My mum was there and I could not have done it with out her."
THE BABY: Mum Nicole said: "He's fantastic - he's started teething but is very content."
THE NAME: Joseph was not a name Nicole or Robert had thought about, but once he was born Nicole just thought he looked like a Joseph. It is also her granddad's middle name.
THE GRANDPARENTS: Grandparents are Karen Geoghegan from Hallglen and Joyce Rowan from Wishaw.
THANKS: Nicole would like to thank her mum who helped her through it all, and also the maternity team at Stirling Royal Infirmary and family and friends.
