MARGARET Isobel Leishman was born on Wednesday, January 7, at the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow, at 7.50 p.m. weighing 8lb 12oz.
THE PARENTS: Mum Anne (39) is a community nurse, while dad Paul is an advanced nurse practitioner at Stirling Royal Infirmary. Margaret has a big brother, Ryan who is 16. The family live in Laurieston.

THE PREGNANCY: Anne says her pregnancy was very uneventful, and she was ''boringly healthy'' throughout.

THE BIRTH: Margaret arrived bang on time on her due date - and shares a birthday with her granddad. The labour was very quick, lasting only an hour and a half from beginning to end.

THE BABY: Margaret is a very contented baby, who is already sleeping seven hours a night, much to her parents' delight.

THE NAME: Margaret is named after Paul's gran, and her middle name Isobel is after Anne's late mum.

THE GRANDPARENTS: Margaret is the second grandchild for Clark and Diane Leishman, and a fourth grandchild for Thomas and the late Isobel Cochrane.

THANKS: Anne and Paul would like to thank all the staff at Graeme Medical Centre in Falkirk.
