The wedding of Linzi Roy and Michael Dunsmore

HOW THEY MET: Linzi and Michael both used to work part-time at McDonald’s in Falkirk 
High Street. Linzi was 17 
and still at school and Michael was studying at university.

THE PROPOSAL: The couple were in St Andrews for a family wedding in September 2011, and the following day Michael proposed on the beach with a beautiful engagement ring.

THE WEDDING: The wedding was held on July 7, 2012. The ceremony was held in Doune 
Castle where 100 guests watched the couple get married. A reception followed at the Beancross where 30 more guests joined the celebrations. 
The bride said that the ceremony was very memorable.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Linzi’s bridesmaids 
were her sister Kelly Whittington and cousin Jordan Liddell. The best man was Michael’s best friend Murray Craig and the ushers were Daniel Oliphant and Ian Saughnan.

THE DRESS: Linzi wore an ivory gown with hip detailing and full skirt.

THE HONEYMOON: The newlyweds spent five weeks visiting New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando and Cancun.
