The wedding of Carol Henderson and Brian Crawford
The couple:
Carol Henderson (28) is a senior clinical
physiologist in cardiology at Stirling Royal Infirmary and comes from Summerford
Road, Falkirk. Brian Crawford (28) is a vehicle spray painter at Blairs,
Falkirk, and comes from Carronshore. The couple now live in Keppock Place,
Falkirk.

They were introduced by a mutual
friend in Rosies in July 2001, and started dating in September the same
year.
The proposal:
Brian got down on one knee in
Barcelona in July 2004.
The wedding:
They were married in
front of 70 guests at Callendar House on March 25, 2006, followed by a reception
in Glenskirlie House, Banknock. Another 70 guests joined them in the
evening.
The dress:
Carol wore a Maggie Sottero strapless
dress in diamond white with champagne lace, with pearls and Swarovski crystals,
bought by her dad.
The bridal party:
Brian, his best man
friend Steven Binnie, and ushers Carol’s brother Douglas Henderson and Brian’s
cousin Craig Smith, all wore Scotland’s National Tartan. The bridesmaids,
Carol’s cousins Rachael Goodsir, Rebecca Goodsir and Rebecca Scott wore dusky
pink long A line dresses. Flowergirl Holly Tait (9) wore a matching dress and
bolero.
The honeymoon:
The couple had five nights in
Venice and three in London.
